Music Ministry

INTERESTED IN DRAMA? The worship choir is sponsoring this year’s Easter drama entitled “Story Teller: The Resurrection Was Just the Beginning.” This biblical drama, written by Julie Prudhome, will require a large cast of actors, singers, extras, construction, and technical personnel. Please ask God how you might take part in this drama. We also need prayer partners to undergird this evangelistic effort.
Words cannot express the thankfulness I feel in my heart for the countless people who participated in the setup of the Singing Christmas Tree and the Light Show. These ministries could not happen without the generosity of our church family. Please pray that God would use and multiply our efforts to reach the lost in Vidor and surrounding areas through these ministries. Please invite people to join us at Come Listen to the Lights. Yard signs, posters and business cards are located in the Worship Center Foyer and the entrance to the Pre-school building. Use them to spread the news about what God is doing at Pine Forest Baptist Church.
Handbell Choir The Handbell group meets in the Choir Room at 6:00 pm on Tuesdays beginning October 4. It's a fun and great way to serve the Lord in the music ministry, and especially for those who don't find singing to be their strong point. We will be participating in the Christmas season December 11th and on the 24th during the Christmas Eve Vespers Service. See you in handbells this Tuesday! Contact Dale Prudhome for more information. "Grace Notes" Senior Adult Choir All Senior Adults…that’s 50+ folks…are invited to join our Grace Notes Choir. Grace Notes meet on Tuesdays at 3pm in the Conference Room just outside the church offices. This group is for anyone who enjoys singing good-old gospel songs. We sing hymns and arrangements from our era and have a great time together. Come be part of the fun and fellowship and bring a friend. Sometimes there are even snacks at rehearsals. See you on Tuesdays! |
