Nick is a native Texan who grew up in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. In his high school and college years he was active in High School Baptist Young Men and Baptist Men’s missions. Nick is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University and has his Master of Arts degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served at Parkway Baptist in Houston as Youth Minister & interim pastor, and at Atascocita’s First Baptist Church as part-time Minister of Education & Youth. Nick has also taught school, coached JV basketball, worked in international summer missions, and worked in several summer camps and conference centers.
   He and his wife, Angela, have one daughter, Janette. Angela has also taught school. They are looking forward to establishing their home here and rearing their family here.

Dear Church Family,

   Angela and I would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity. You have done a great job at making us feel welcome and loved and a part of your church. I would like to thank all of you who were a part in praying for my family before you even knew us. We have seen the hand of God throughout the entire interview process and call. We know that God has had His hand in our decision to come and He has confirmed it through the love and acceptance of this wonderful church.
   Thank you for the wonderful reception, pounding and love offering. We could tell that each person put thought in to what they gave. When we brought the food home and set it down, Janette immediately saw the food that was given specifically for her. She had to have some before we even unpacked the bags.
   We look forward to getting to know each of you and we are excited to serve in this community. Thank you for your continual prayers and support. We expect great things in the years to come as God will be our guide as we share the love of Christ with others.
